A fire and gas detection system is a part of the control and safety systems covering the overall control and monitoring requirements for the field.
Fire and gas detection system shall – via various instruments – continuously monitor all areas for abnormal conditions. In the event of a hazardous situation being detected, the system shall provide the operator with the information of detection/protection systems on demand in the Central Control Room.
These will give warnings to personnels of any hazardous situations arising. Depending upon the level of hazard this detection equipment will also shut-down process equipment and actuate automatic fire fighting systems.

What is Very Early Warning Smoke Detection?
VESDA by Xtralis very early warning aspirating smoke detection solutions with continuous air sampling provide the earliest possible warning of an impending fire hazard. VESDA ASDs buy the critical time needed to investigate an alarm and initiate an appropriate response to prevent injury, property damage or business disruption. VESDA detectors have multi-level warnings and a wide range of sensitivity that does not degrade or change over time, so even minute levels of smoke can be detected before a fire has time to escalate. VESDA sensitivity range is 0.005% Obs/Mtr to 20.0% Obs/Mtr. In addition, VESDA systems are manufactured using targeted Six Sigma techniques and ISO 9000 standards and have been certified by regulatory bodies worldwide.

The Laser compact detector can be used for very small room. VLC Detector having single entry pipe inlet. We can run the pipe upto 80 mtr. Three configurable relays are available.

VESDA Laser Compact (VLC -EX Detector) Ex-Proof
The Laser compact EX detector is suitable for Zone 2 (Hazardous) area. VLC EX Detector having IP 54 enclosure which is coming for stainless steel enclosure. single entry pipe inlet. We can run the pipe upto 80 mtr. Three configurable relays are available.

VESDA Laser Focus (VLF Detector)
The VESDA Laser FOCUS detector is a very early warning smoke detector designed to protect small, business-critical environments of less than 500 m2 (5000 sq. ft.)

VESDA Laser Plus (VLP Detector)
The Laser Plus detector can be used for wide area. VLP Detector having four inlet pipe entry. We can run the pipe upto 200 mtr & each pipe can extend upto 50 Mtr. Seven programmable relays.

VESDA Laser Scanner (VLS Detector)
The Xtralis VESDA VLS is similar to the standard Xtralis VESDA VLP detector, but also includes a valve mechanism in the inlet manifold and software to control the airflow from the four sectors (pipes). This configuration enables a single VESDA zone to be divided into four separate sectors, for example, distinguishing between separate voids within a room. Total coverage area is 200Mtr & seven & Twelve programmable relays are there.

VESDA VEU Series (VEU Detector)
The VEU series of aspirating smoke detectors are the premium detector of the new VESDA-E range. An Ultra-wide sensitivity range; 15 times greater than VESDA VLP, and provision for more sampling holes provide an increased coverage in high airflow applications by up to 40%. Considerably longer linear pipe runs and extended branched pipe network configurations cater perfectly to applications with higher ceilings providing an increased coverage by up to 80% whilst allowing convenient detector mounting for ease of service and maintenance. VESDA-E detectors offer Ethernet and WiFi connectivity as standard features. The detector can be added to a corporate network, allowing WiFi enabled tablet devices and laptops installed with Xtralis configuration software to connect wirelessly.
